Our Lounges
Silks Lounge
Our premier lounge is situated on the first floor. The Silks Lounge has its own sound system, dancefloor, ceiling to floor curtains, the ability to divide the space into three separate areas and outside you will find a covered balcony with tables and chairs overlooking the Tararua Range.
Terrace Lounge
Situated on ground floor, the Terrace Lounge is perfect for conferences, party's, trade shows, product launches, weddings and dinners. The view is over the racecourse with a fantastic outdoor area that can be used for pre-dinner drinks, outside dining, team building or just relaxing.
Marton & Feilding Lounge
The Marton and Feilding Lounges are situated next to the Silks lounge and are ideal for small meetings, conferences, breakout rooms and private dinners. The lounges have a dividing wall and can be used as separate spaces or can be opened up into one venue.
Rangitikei Lounge
This Rangitikei Lounge can be used as a stand alone space or as an extension into the Silks Lounge which makes it ideal to be used for a small meeting, breakout room, additional catering space or a speaker prep room.
Stewards Lounge
Positioned on the first floor of the members’ stand, the Stewards Lounge is perfect for intimate dinners, small weddings, special occasions, meetings or a breakout room. It has a purpose built bar, an outdoor balcony and great views over the ranges.
Owners Lounge
Recently redecorated the Owners Lounge is situated on the ground floor and overlooks the Birdcage. The stunning décor lends itself well to intimate dinners and cocktail functions as well as meetings or a breakout space.
Awapuni Lounge
Sitting along side the Stewards Lounge, the Awapuni Lounge has the addition of a dancefloor as well as a purpose built bar, and an outdoor balcony. This Lounge is ideally used as a larger breakout or catering space.
Eulogy Lounge
The Eulogy Lounge is located on the second floor of the members side of the building and is connected by a walkway, stairs or a lift from the Silks and Main Foyer. It is mainly used as a large break out space for full venue conferences
Birdcage Lounge
Situated on the ground floor at the end of the building this lounge boasts a more private setting. With an outdoor area and purpose built bar this lounge is ideal for celebrations or can be used for smaller meetings.
Oaks Lounge
The Oaks Lounge is a smaller space which would work well as an additional area for conferences that need extra room.
