Lewis Jones - Director of Catering

Lewis heads the Creative Catering team and works with two office staff and three Heads of Department to ensure the smooth operation of the company. Lewis takes a hands on approach and is often seen quoting events, liaising with suppliers, setting up offsite functions or jumping in and helping the team out. Having worked at Creative Catering since it was established, Lewis has an extensive knowledge of how events work and ways to make each event a success.

 

Amy Billing - Conference & Events Manager

As our Conference and Events Manager, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Creative Catering which she has honed from working in restaurants and hotels in Australia and Wellington. Amy has been part of the Creative Catering team for five years, looking after the Awapuni Function Centre, the Vintage Car Club and many other off-site events. With her knowledge and hands on experience she will make sure that your conference, wedding or event runs without a glitch!

 

Lindsey White - Sales & Marketing Administrator

With a background in event planning and marketing in Scotland, Lindsey has recently moved to the area and is now looking after both events and marketing for Creative Catering and the Awapuni Function Centre. Helping with quoting, arranging catering, beverages, theming, audio visual requirements and everything in between Lindsey is your one stop shop.

 

Sahil Hussein - Executive Chef 

 Sahil has recently relocated to Palmerston North and has joined the Creative Catering team as Executive chef. He brings with him invaluable knowledge and experience from his past 23 years’ exposure within the Hospitality Industry, having held positions as: Group Executive Chef, Motel Owner Operator, Consultant Chef, Hospitality Tutor, Head Chef and Food and Beverage Manager. We are delighted to have him on board and welcome his fresh perspective and creative expression.

 

Megan Vincent - Maître D

Megan oversees the running of all onsite and offsite events, checking rooms are set, decorated and on point. Her team ensure the smooth delivery of food throughout the event and are always there to help out with last minutes details. Megan has worked for Creative Catering for ten years and comes from a fine dining back ground.

 

Shane Russell - Refreshments Manager

Shane is responsible for the setting and running of all bars and refreshment requirements at on and offsite events. From a bar for post conference drinks to 15+ bars on a busy race day, Shane and his team deliver efficient and friendly service. Shane has worked at Creative Catering for 12 years.
